Two years ago i went to Belgium to rest for a few days and at the same time visit some friends.
A customer from Madrid, Spain did ask me to look for two pairs of top De Rauw-Sablon pigeons.
Not an easy task, because my customer and long-time friend only keeps the best of the best.
I visited several lofts and even engaged the help of some local friends but in a whole week i could not find the right pigeons.
Eventually, when i was ready to come back empty handed a friend suggested that i should visit a small team man that had decided to sell some of is pigeons. There I found six top class pigeons of that Strain.
The quality was such that i could not resist the temptation and bought one for ourselves as well.
“Lady Sabon” has proven to be a gold mine as a breeder. She was matted to the “Son of Frans” BE 03-4146219 a brother of her own grandfather on the mother side, we sold several offspring, mostly went to our top customers that race against the best competition in the Iberian Península.
In such a short period of time the results obtained by her offspring are just fantastic, responsible for 1º against + - 8.000 pigeons, 1º against 1.967 pigeons, 3º, 7º, 13º 14º & 21º racing against a minimum of 490 and 3.466 pigeons without doubles.

Há dois anos atrás fui á Bélgica para descansar uns dias e conviver com alguns amigos.
Um amigo e cliente de Madrid pediu que procurasse dois casais da linhagem De Rauw- Sablon.
Tratando - se de um senhor cliente que apenas coleciona o melhor entre os melhores, procurei em vários pombais mas em nenhum encontrei a qualidade pretendida, até que no último dia antes do regresso, um amigo aconselhou a que fizesse uma visita ao pombal de um amador que voava muito bem com um número muito limitado de pombos e estaria na disposição de me ceder alguns da linhagem De Rauw-Sabon.
Aí encontrei 6 pombos que imediatamente me chamaram a atenção. Fiquei tao impressionado que resolvi adquirir uma fêmea para o nosso quadro reprodutor pelo facto de esta ser também, em parte, da mesma linha do nosso super campeão reprodutor o “Zoon Frans”.
Há dias em que somos bafejados pela sorte. Hoje ao dar uma vista de olhos á nossa base de dados constato que os descendentes da “Lady Sabon” x o “Zoon Frans” são responsáveis pelos seguintes resultados: 1º contra + - 8.000 pombos, 1º contra 1.967 pombos, 3º, 7º, 13º 14º & 21º contra um mínimo de 490 e 3.466 pombos, sem “doublagem” em Portugal e em Espanha.
